MUSCLE IS YOUR FRIEND!
Holding a certain amount of muscle mass is very good for you and should be high on your priority list.
As we get older we begin to lose muscle mass and two places we lose muscle (and strength) from first are our glutes (bum) and our abdominal wall.
It’s important to maintain muscle and strength in these areas because they help us to move and stabilize our bodies in just about everything we do.
It’s also important to have adequate muscle around our joints to help keep them strong and prevent injuries
The best way to do this is with regular weights training generally using around 8-12 reps for 3-4 sets per exercise and have a diet that helps you to maintain muscle.
So next time you’re setting your training goals just remember muscle is your friend!
